Role : Clinical Perfusionist

Location : Greenville, SC

Shift : Days, 5x8s (08 : 0016 : 30)

Contract Length : 1320 weeks (holiday coverage)

Weekly Gross : $5306

Breakdown : -

W2 : $101.5 / HR

Perdiem : $1246 / Weekly

Requirements : -

  • Certification : Clinical Perfusionist (ABCP) REQUIRED
  • Experience : 5 years perfusion experience REQUIRED
  • Trauma Level 1 & Teaching Hospital experience REQUIRED
  • Travel experience REQUIRED
  • Certifications : BLS & ACLS (preferred but strongly encouraged)
  • EMR : Minimum 1 year Epic experience
  • Must be able to work 2 of 3 major holidays if contract covers holiday period
  • Flu vaccine required

Clinical Skills : -

  • Cardiopulmonary Bypass (CPB) & ECMO (adult & pediatric, including transport)
  • Anticoagulation management, acid-base balance, adequacy of perfusion
  • Advanced cardiac procedures : CABG, valve replacement / repair, TAVR / TAVI, MAZE, ASD / VSD repair
  • Pediatric and adult CVOR experience
  • Advanced support devices : ECMO, ECLS, Impella, IABP, ECPR, ECPella
  • Techniques : Hypothermic circulatory arrest, cerebral perfusion, ultrafiltration, blood conservation
  • Emergency management : oxygenator failure, massive air embolus, power failure

    • Equipment Used : -

  • Terumo System 1
  • Quest MPS 2 / 3 Cardioplegia
  • HMS, Centrimag, Impella 5.5, Angiovac
  • CardioHelp, Sorin perfusion system
  • Belmont Hyperthermia Kit, CardioQuip HC

    • Floating Policy : -

  • Staff may float to other Prisma campuses / units as needed.
  • Will only float to areas within demonstrated competencies.
