Job Description :
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide 1 : 1 support for a student in Harwinton, CT.
The ideal candidate will work closely with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and the students educational team to implement individualized behavior intervention plans, focusing on positive behavior support and skill development.
This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a students life.
Key Responsibilities :
- Work 1 : 1 with a student to implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Monitor and record student progress and behaviors
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and the BCBA to ensure consistency
- Support the student in building communication, social, and daily living skills
- Ensure a safe and positive environment for the student
Qualifications :
- Must be a certified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
- Experience working with children or individuals with special needs preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping others
