Job Title : Special Education Teacher
Location : Glendale, AZ
Job Description : We are seeking dedicated and qualified Special Education Teachers to join our team in Glendale, AZ. We have three full-time positions available for the 2024-2025 school year, each requiring 37.
5 hours per week. The ideal candidates will have experience working with students with emotional disabilities in a self-contained classroom setting.
Para support will be provided in the classroom.
Educational Requirements :
Must hold a valid Arizona Special Education Teacher Certification.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each students unique needs.
- Provide direct instruction to students in a self-contained setting.
- Adapt and modify curriculum and instructional strategies to meet the needs of students with emotional disabilities.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other support staff to ensure the best educational outes for students.
- Monitor student progress and make necessary adjustments to IEPs.
- Maintain accurate and plete records of students' progress and development.
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development activities.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and growth.
- Utilize specialized techniques and materials to support students' academic, social, and emotional development.
Certifications :
Must hold a valid Arizona Special Education Teacher Certification.

- Full-time positions, 37.5 hours per week
- Self-contained classroom with para support in the classroom

- Grades 5-8 for one position
- Grades 6-8 for two positions
