Clinical Care LVN/LPN
Responsibilities :
- Provide holistic, evidenced-based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counselling, and disposition planning for our patients.
- This includes education and treatment for pregnancy prevention, sexually transmitted infection (STI) Prevention and safer sex practices.
- Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection services
- Administer immunizations and injections (to include but not limited to COVID19, influenza, TB) and provides evidence-based patient / parent vaccine counselling and education.
- Assess patients during intake
- Take vital signs
- Perform diagnostic tests such as EKG, Retinopathy screening
- Perform Point of care testing (including COVID testing)
- Perform patient registration and intake, assist with wait room management and other responsibilities to
enhance the patient experience.
- Order equipment and prepare the clinic for the best patient experience
- Help meet our mission to help people on their path to better health by providing excellent patient-focused connections and activities
Experience :
- Minimum of one-year related work experience in a healthcare setting
- Experience documenting within an Electronic Medical Record
- Ability to take vital signs, perform phlebotomy blood draws and perform Point of Care Testing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including but not limited to performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
