Job Title : Quality Control Inspector - CMM Programmer

Job Type : Full-time, Temp-to-hire
Pay : $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected Hours : No less than 40 per week
Schedule : 5am-1 : 30pm
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Write CMM programs in PC-DMIS and verify dimensional layouts according to blueprints.
- Complete internal and external PPAPs (Production Part Approval Process) per customer specifications.
- Perform technical inspections / measurements using precision equipment such as CMM, comparator, surface finish test equipment, and related tools.
- Conduct first piece-part layout and tooling checks against tool print and customer part drawings.
- Provide inspection data to engineering, manufacturing, and quality departments, as well as technical personnel at customer sites.
- Adhere to ISO quality procedures.
- Perform 100% dimensional inspections.
- Conduct layout, first piece, in-process, and final inspections.
- Demonstrate strong background in GD&T and ability to read and understand complex machining drawings and CAD models.
- Use precision inspection measuring devices and tools including calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, drop indicators, and SolidWorks.
- Communicate with customer / vendor quality and engineering to ensure print-compliant parts and components.
- Review work orders (written or verbal) to determine specific inspection requirements.
- Conduct visual, dimensional, and content inspections / tests on incoming components and materials.
- Identify, quarantine, and document non-conforming parts / materials detected during inspections.
- Verify and tag incoming components / materials for inventory purposes.
- Prepare and process inspection documents for IEA products.
- Conduct final inspections or audits of finished goods and ship-loose components to ensure order conformance.
- Maintain inspection records related to individual activities.
- Recommend ordering, product, or other changes to IEA Management based on Company and customer requirements.
- Coordinate inspection activities with other IEA Production activities.
- Clean and maintain assigned areas and equipment.
- Work safely at all times.

Experience :
Two or more years of hands-on CMM programming and Quality Control in manufacturing.
Education :
Formal training in CMM PC-DMIS is preferred.
Certificates / Licenses :
- Forklift operator certification is desirable.
