Perform basic medical procedures such as taking vital signs, measuring patient height and weight, and collecting specimens for lab testing
Responsibilities :
- Assist healthcare providers with examinations and procedures
- Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers
- Prepare patients for diagnostic tests and procedures, such as X-rays or ultrasounds
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling billing and coding tasks
- Ensure a clean and organized medical environment
- The employee may perform other related duties as assigned by their supervisor to meet the ongoing needs of the organization
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant Certification and BLS
- Bilingual is Mandatory for the position
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Experience with medical coding and billing processes
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide compassionate patient service
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
