We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer with experience in writing technical reports. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and documenting processes. Additionally, experience with composite and composite materials, wind turbine manufacturing process and equipment is desired, but not required. The candidate should be able to review technical data and generate technical summaries to be shared with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and improve potential manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot process issues to identify and implement effective solutions.
  • Develop and implement process improvements, including design changes, equipment modifications, and process control enhancements.
  • Prepare technical reports that document process changes, test results, and quality issues.
  • Analyze technical data and generate technical summaries for senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and R&D, to drive continuous improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends and advancements in process engineering.
  • Provide technical support for field team
  • Work in the filed as needed to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Perform time and motion studies and cycle time analysis to optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Provide technical support for production issues and process changes.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends and advancements in wind turbine manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations.
  • Prepare and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, process flow diagrams, and control plans.
  • Participate in new product development and launch activities.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, materials science, or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a process engineering or manufacturing role.
  • Experience in root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and documenting processes.
  • Strong technical writing skills and experience in writing technical reports.
  • Familiarity with composite and composite materials is desired, but not required.
  • Ability to review technical data and generate technical summaries for senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong knowledge of wind turbine manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Experience in process optimization, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
