JOB DESCRIPTION
Sales Consultant ProvideS each prospective Bath Fitter customer with a complete, professional and compelling presentation of Bath Fitter products and services using proven tools and techniques supplied by the company.
Tasks and Responsabilities
Maintain relationship with customers from initial appointment to post install in order to provide excellent customer service;
using proven Bath Fitter selling and process methods provide the customer with all information needed to make a purchasing decision
- Accurately measure and identify tubs or shower bases and walls at the time of the estimate using appropriate checklists and forms
- Test-fit existing tubs with a Bath Fitter test shell when necessary
- Prepare detailed, accurate and legible estimates
- Meet or exceed closing sales objectives
- Submit all checks, cash, credit card information and signed EOIs to the office each day
- Responsible for generating leads; must meet set objectives
- Revisit completed jobs following installation
- Maintain all sales presentation materials in top condition, replacing worn items as soon as necessary
- As required keep assigned mall displays clean and supplied with brochures and sign-up cards; collect all leads and submit to the office immediately
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Abide by all Bath Fitter policies and procedures
- Attend and participate in regular branch and / or regional meetings and training sessions.
- Able to demonstrate accuracy and completion; monitors own work to ensure quality. Looks for opportunities to improve and promote quality
- Prioritize work activities, uses time efficiently
- Professional Dress and / or uniform, neat in appearance, observing rules of good grooming and hygiene
- Regular Attendance and punctuality is required
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Education and / or Experience - High school diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent education. 3 to 5 years of in-home sales or consultative sales experience
- Ability to take accurate measurements using tape measure, level and combination square; add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
- Valid drivers license and maintain a clean driving record
- The primary physical demands of the Sales Consultant is medium work. Occasionally includes medium / heavy work that includes moving objects up to 75 pounds.
- The Sales Consultant position requires the regular performance all the following activities during daily work :
- Lifting individual tools, and small parts 0-3 times per day weighing pound-1 pound
- Carrying Wall Sample Bag 1-6 times per day weighing 28pounds for 10-500 feet
- Carrying Presentation Cart 1-3 times per day weighing 25 pounds for 10-500 feet
- Pushing / Pulling presentation carts 1-6 times per day weighing 10 pounds for 50-500 feet
- Standing, walking, bending, twisting, kneeling and squatting occasionally
- Sitting with client and driving occasionally
- Climbing occasionally 7-10
- Reaching about shoulder up to 80
- Reaching frequently below shoulder 19-36 with deskwork and assisting with other jobs
- Balancing occasionally with walking at residences
- Gripping / Grasping frequently with material handling, keyboarding, writing, and driving
- Seeing including near, far, and depth
- Hearing to communicate with co-workers, customers, vendors, and hear announcements
- Talking to communicate with co-workers, customers, and vendors
- Wearing proper PPE including mask, gloves, and composite shoes when appropriate
Demonstrated Skills
- Able to speak clearly and persuasively; write clearly able to read and interpret written information
- Ability to work collaboratively within the team for a common goal
