Reporting to the Lead Patient Service Representative, the Patient Service Representative(PSR) rotates between the departments : X-Ray, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, CT, and Mammography.
The PSR greets patients and visitors entering the department. The PSR generates and sorts exam requisitions, accurately enters exams into the HIS / RIS system.
Must maintain a high level of patient confidentiality via HIPPA guidelines and be committed to Service Excellence at all times.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education High school diploma or equivalent requiredMedical Terminology course preferred.Previous coursework related to administrative skills preferred.
- ExperienceOne year in a medical office environment preferred.Customer service, data entry, and HIS / RIS experience a plus.
- Licensure and / or CertificationNone required.
