About The Position

Responsibilities :

Assess patients’ physical, emotional, and social capabilities to determine treatment needs.

Develop and implement individualized therapy programs to improve patients’ functional abilities.

Use therapeutic techniques, adaptive equipment, and assistive technology to promote independence.

Educate patients and caregivers on home programs and strategies for continued improvement.

Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and treatment records.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.

Adhere to all state and federal regulations and professional practice standards.

Job Requirements

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

Active state OT license (or eligibility for licensure).

Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

Prior experience in [rehab, skilled nursing, hospital, or home health] preferred.

NBCOT certification preferred.
