JOB QUALIFICATIONS :

Citarella, The Ultimate Gourmet Market, is seeking Full-Time DRIVERS (CDL Class A / B and Non CDL) to join our growing family! We are seeking individuals whose interest and passion for driving and food are as unparalleled as our commitment to superb customer service and quality food.

MUST HAVE OPEN AVAILABILITY. Schedule is varied.

• Minimum 2-3 years' experience driving straight trucks
• Must have open availability work including nights, early mornings, holidays, weekend
• Professional driving experience in NYC (Manhattan), Long Island and Connecticut (Preferred but not required)
• Clean driving record is a must
• Must be organized, reliable, and demonstrate timelines
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills at all levels
• Prior experience in a food / retail company is a plus.
• Must be able to meet physical demands of the position
• Some of the responsibilities associates with this job include but are not limited to :
• Transport store product to multiple store locations
• Assist in loading and unloading of merchandise.
• Understand and adhere to all traffic laws and regulations in respect to driving policies.
• Communicate with dispatcher and store managers to ensure accuracy and timeliness of deliveries
• Ensure refrigeration and proper temperatures are maintained in the trucks
