Location : Full-time in-office position located at 1906 Livingston Ave, West St. Paul, MN 55118. May require limited travel to nationwide job sites.

Schedule / Hours : 5 days a week (Monday - Friday) standard business hours

Job Type : Full-time W-2 position. Exempt.

Construction Project Manager Job Summary :

As the Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing various government projects across the United States.

Current projects include a multi-million dollar modernization effort at select Veteran's Hospitals (VAs) focused on upgrading data cabling systems, including computers, networks, and phone infrastructure.

These projects align with the hospital's new Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program, ensuring seamless integration of upgraded technology for efficient healthcare services.

As a Project Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring that each project aligns with our high standards and meets client expectations.

Construction Project Manager Responsibilities :

  • Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
  • Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
  • Monitor compliance with building and safety regulations for all onsite and offsite constructions.
  • Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
  • Ensure contractual conditions of performance are met.
  • Review daily work progress and prepare internal and external reports.
  • Proactively plan to prevent and resolve emerging problems.
  • Ensure adherence to quality construction standards and proper construction techniques.

Construction Project Manager Required Qualifications :

  • Experience as a lead Construction Project Manager for government, industrial, and / or commercial projects (open to new college / trade school graduates as well).
  • Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
  • Ability to read and understand construction documents, including project plans, specifications, and shop drawings.
  • Comprehensive understanding of all facets of the construction process.
  • Strong strategic planning skills.
  • Competency in conflict and crisis management, leadership, and human resources management.
  • Excellent time and project management skills.
  • Strong communication skills and leadership ability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, construction software, and email.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 10% nationwide to project sites as needed.

Construction Project Manager Preferred Qualifications :

  • Completed trade school, Associates, and / or Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
  • Experience on projects for the Army Corps of Engineers / Veterans Hospitals.
  • Familiarity with hospital / healthcare settings and effective communication with medical staff.
  • Understanding of Healthcare IT systems and experience with Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) Projects.
  • Proficiency in Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) barriers and safety protocols.
  • Knowledge of infectious disease prevention measures during healthcare facility construction.
