Job Description :
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide nursing care to residents in a long-term care facility, ensuring their overall health, safety, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities :
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor residents’ vital signs and health status, reporting any significant changes to the care team.
- Assist residents with daily activities such as mobility, personal hygiene, and feeding.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement and adjust individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of nursing care provided and residents' conditions.
- Foster a compassionate and supportive environment for the residents and their families.
Requirements :
- Experience in Long Term Care (LTC) preferred.
- Current LPN or LVN licensure.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Adherence to safety protocols and nursing best practices.
