What you will be doing :
Responsibilities :
- Consistently offer professional friendly and engaging service
- Assist the bartenders in preparing maintaining and restocking the bar area and equipment
- Have full knowledge of all menu items garnishes contents and preparation methods
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
- Follow hotel time and attendance policy
- Follow grooming and attire guidelines
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
Your experience and skills include :
- Previous Bar Porter experience
- Excellent knowledge of all beverage products beer wine spirits
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and problemsolving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fastpaced environment
- Ability to work cohesively with colleagues as part of a team
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Ability to speak read and write in English
- Ability to work a exible schedule including mornings afternoons nights weekdays weekends and holidays
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to) :
- Constant standing and walking throughout the shift
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
- Occasional kneeling pushing pulling lifting
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders stairs and ramps
