WeCare at The Pearl is actively seeking motivated Licensed Practical Nurses for our community in Rochester, NY. Our Licensed Practical Nurses assist in ensuring the general health and well-being of our residents by providing nursing care.
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) or physician to residents.
The LPN assists in implementing the nursing care plan, administering medications, and providing basic medical care to residents.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of each patient’s medical status upon admissions and throughout the course of treatment.
- Provide regular patient status updates.
- Assist in implementing patient’s treatment plan under direction of the Registered Nurse.
- Complete required documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
- Supervise, administer and or assist with medications.
- Provide direct care of residents as necessary.
- Follow the plan of care for each resident.
- Ensure the residents care standards are maintained.
- Report to the Director of Nursing.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Valid NYSED LPN Certification
- Basic Life Support American Heart Association (BLS)
