Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) - Admissions

Job Summary : The RN Admissions Nurse will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of patients during the admissions process.

This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions for patients into our facility.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical exams, and vital signs.
• Review and verify patient information and insurance details during the admission process.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and their families about admission processes, treatment options, and available resources.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely admission and discharge processes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to maintaining high standards of patient care.
• Stay informed about best practices and updates in nursing and admissions procedures.

Qualifications :

• Current RN license in State .
• Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Previous experience in admissions or a similar role is a plus.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
