Canton Mancan Temporary Staffing Employment Agency is hiring a forklift operator to work in the Canton area. Currently looking for employees who have experience driving propane sit down tanks and forklifts.

This is a very dirty environment and there will be some lifting involved. Candidates must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and move freely for entire 10 hour shift.

We are seeking an experienced forklift operator to work for a reputable company in Canton Ohio. As a forklift operator, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, load, and unload materials within a warehouse setting.

Your primary objective will be to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of goods and materials.

Key Responsibilities :

• Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and transport materials and products.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the forklift to ensure its proper functioning.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times to prevent accidents or damage to goods.
• Load and unload trucks. Stacking and organizing products or materials as per instructions.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and completed tasks.
• Collaborate with warehouse team members and supervisors to prioritize and fulfill orders efficiently.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to attendance, punctuality, and adherence to scheduled shifts.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements :

• Prior experience as a forklift operator is essential. We are currently looking for employees who have experience driving propane sit down tanks and forklifts.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to work weekend shifts and the ability to work a 4 day on and 4 day off schedule once trained.
• Strong attendance and punctuality is a MUST.

Benefits :

Competitive hourly rate of $ PLUS an extra $ per WEEK as an attendance bonus if you are not late, and do not miss any of your scheduled shifts!

Raises will be given after 500 hours!

Hours are 5am-3 : 30 pm on various days.

Candidates can expect to work 40 hours per week plus over time as needed.

The days you will work will vary from week to week and do fall on some weekends.
