Are you an experienced auditor committed to exceptional service? Zupka & Associates, an innovative public accounting firm, is seeking a Staff Auditor specializing in audits for government and non-profit clients.
As a Staff Auditor, you'll lead audits, collaborate with Partners and Managers, and help grow our client base. This role requires independence, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
Compensation :
- Salary : Starting at $60,000+ based on experience

Responsibilities :
- Perform a variety of accounting and auditing assignments for cities, schools, and non-profit organizations under the supervision of senior staff members.
- Perform audit procedures, including a test of internal controls over receipting, disbursements, and payroll, and preparation of audit working papers.
- Assist with proofing financial statements and other documents.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- At least 2 years of experience in public accounting or governmental audits.
- Strong knowledge of governmental accounting and auditing standards.
- Ability to work independently, manage time, and meet deadlines with accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Willing to travel frequently, including some overnight stays.
