Our client is seeking a motivated Scientist I / II with expertise in immunology and cellular biology to explore novel biological questions and apply new skills to support discovery and target validation efforts.
The ideal candidate is adept at reviewing literature to design and conduct experiments efficiently, working closely with Research and Translational teams.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic discovery engine, advancing innovative therapeutic programs across multiple areas.
Responsibilities :
- Think strategically and creatively about scientific questions.
- Design and execute hypothesis-driven in vitro research to validate new targets.
- Collaborate with Research and Translational teams to leverage resources for efficient experimental plans.
- Independently perform and troubleshoot assays to generate high-quality, interpretable data.
- Analyze and communicate findings to inform program decisions.
Requirements :
- Skilled in cellular and immunological assays (e.g., flow cytometry, ELISA, cell activation assays).
- Strong literature review abilities, with a record of identifying and adapting relevant experiments.
- Proven success in cross-functional teamwork in fast-paced settings, excelling in problem-solving and time management.
- Experienced in assay development, experimental design, and efficient execution.
- Excellent communication skills, with an ability to clearly present complex data.
- Preferred experience in drug discovery, development, or translational research in biotech / pharma.
- PhD required, with 0 - 2+ years of experience. Postdocs and new PhD grads encouraged to apply.
