Join Our Team as an Aerospace Manufacturing Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift 3 : 00 pm - 11 : 30 pm.
Are you ready to take your career to new heights in the aerospace industry? We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Supervisor to lead our manufacturing team to success!
Job Duties
- Ensure production of quality parts at the lowest possible cost while adhering to production standards.
- Re-enforce adherence to standards (QCPs, policies and procedures, etc.) through coaching and routine follow up.
- Ensure compliance with Company IPM / QPM and ISO quality requirements.
- Follow MOS Principles supplied by management.
- Follow, enforce and support 5S principles.
- Score favorably in compliance audits of MOS Overall Utilization Assessment.
- Assign and execute daily and weekly production schedule.
- Communicate / document with employees on performance; assist employees in achieving performance expectations.
- Perform midyear & annual employee performance reviews.
- Complete Corrective Actions to improve area.
- Resolve performance / disciplinary issues with employees in coordination with the Human Resources.
Qualifications
- Must be able to obtain a Repairman Certificate within 2-4 months of employment or have the credentials i.e. A&P license (Airframe and Powerplant) to supervise any maintenance activity
- Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Four (4) years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment and / or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Practical knowledge of aircraft components, machining, welding, inspection, and related disciplines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills; including Excel, PowerPoint etc
- Must be fluent in English, i.e. speaking, reading, writing
- Six Sigma Greenbelt / Blackbelt preferred
