About the Role

• Set up and run horizontal & vertical machining centers for production and prototype work.
• Read prints and apply GD follow written and verbal instructions from engineering / supervision.
• Edit / optimize G‑code and suggest program improvements at the machine.
• Conduct at‑machine “First Piece” inspection of all checkable features; adjust as needed, then submit for First Article approval.
• Capture accurate job times in the ERP system and coordinate with production planning.
• Use pin gages, micrometers, calipers, and other hand metrology for in‑process checks.
• Practice Good Machining Practices (GMP), sustain 5S, and follow all safety procedures.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and leadership to drive process improvements.
