PAMHC is seeking full-time Recovery Coach to serve clients across our service area. Applicant can choose home based office location in Le Mars, Cherokee, Storm Lake, Spirit Lake, Denison, Ida Grove, or Carroll. Travel required for in home and community-based services for clients or to other office locations as assigned. Position is an average of 40 hours per week Monday – Friday, with occasional evenings as needed to meet with clients.

Pay Range :

$16.23 to $18.35 per hour depending on experience

Position Summary :

The Recovery Coach engages with clients and encourages them to maintain sobriety, participate in recovery-oriented activities and develop a network of sober supports. Participates in group treatment activities and models effective group participation and recovery-oriented perspective for clients with substance use disorders. Helps clients identify and access needed resources and recovery supports. Provides face-to-face, virtual, and telephonic support to encourage individuals to take control of their own health and wellness, teach and assist client / family in locating and accessing social / community and recovery supports, and engage client / family in care planning. The Peer role works to assist clients in their own recovery process and role model competency in ongoing coping skills.

Requirements :

Valid Driver’s License and Insurance

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Lived Experience, Stable in Recovery

Preferred Qualifications :

Bilingual a plus, but not required
