Investment Banking Associate

We are seeking an Associate to join our Investment Banking, Advisory and Capital Markets team based in our New York City office.

Role :

You will be a key player in the support and execution of our Investment Banking, Advisory and Capital Markets team’s strategy.

You will work both independently and together with analysts, associates and more senior bankers, in preparing marketing pitches, formulating and reviewing financial analysis, and making client presentations.

You will be assisting in executing transactions. The candidate will be required to have strong skills in the major product areas of Investment Banking, Advisory or Capital Markets.

Within Capital Markets, we also have a Financial Strategies Group which conducts quantitative and qualitative analysis of capital markets trends, macroeconomics, and corporate finance for our clients.

Qualifications :

• 3+ Years of prior work experience in capital markets or investment banking
• Strong quantitative skills including knowledge of Python is a must
• Strong skills in Excel, Powerpoint, and use of the Bloomberg Terminal
• Familiarity with statistics (time series, in particular)
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact with senior professionals and clients
• High level of focus on work quality and attention to detail
• Experience in executing debt and / or equity new issue transactions
• Ability to create and deliver client presentations
• Ability to work independently and with initiative in an entrepreneurial environment
• Possess leadership qualities and personal integrity
