- Will have the unique opportunity to assist in the development and operations of the Cooper Moorestown Multidisciplinary site.
- This model focuses on the acute / immediate care needs in the Moorestown and surrounding areas.* Excellent customer service, interpersonal and clinical skills are required.
- Participates in cross training in other specialty areas.* Participates in quality assurance and performance improvement projects.
- Responsible for the facilitation and coordination of safe and comprehensive care to all patients presenting to Moorestown Multidisciplinary sites.
Experience Required* 1 year OR RN experience required; 1 year of specialty experience preferred.* OR RN- must have completed Peri-Op 101 or possess at least 3 years' experience.
Education Requirements* BSN preferred; Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing.License / Certification Requirements* Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse)* Current NJ-BLS Certification (Basic Life Support)* CNOR PreferredSpecial Requirements* The OR Nurse Coordinator requires critical thinking to consider factors related to patient safety, effectiveness, and cost in delivering care.
- Effective resource utilization by the Nurse Coordinator requires coordination with the Clinical Director to plan or change course of action for improved continuity of care and outcomes.
- Requires expanded problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making at a supervisory level, including excellent communication skills and the ability to delegate effectively and supervise the work of other team members.
