Packer

Join our team in Rock Island as a Packer, where you will play a crucial role in distributing and repackaging parts for various agriculture equipment like combines and tractors. We are seeking individuals for the 1st or 2nd shift who are skilled in operating a high picker.

Pay range : $16.00-$20.00 / hour

Responsibilities

• Sort boxes and place them on the correct pick pallet for forklift operators.
• Engage in picking and packing products, which vary in size from small handheld items to large machine parts weighing up to a thousand pounds.
• Utilize an RF scanner for inventory management.
• Load and unload semi-trailers with completed pallets.

Work Environment

Work in a large parts distribution center that values quality and attention to detail above all. The facility is open and spacious, with a variety of products and forklifts in operation. The 1st shift operates from 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM, Monday through Friday, with some overtime expected. The 2nd shift runs from 4 : 00 PM to 1 : 00 or 2 : 00 AM, depending on workload.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00 / hr.
