PRN Inpatient Urology Nurse Practitioner – CHRISTUS Health, Tyler, TX

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our well-established urology team at our Tyler, TX location.

Position Details : Inpatient Rounding

5 MDs

5 Advanced Practice Clinicians

The Urology inpatient Nurse Practitioner will handle consults, allowing physicians to focus on surgeries and procedures.

The inpatient Nurse Practitioner also takes first call for the on-call physicians, performs patient rounding, handles in-basket messages, documentation notes, manages orders, and adjusts treatment plans per the physician.

The PRN position helps cover high census periods and weekend shifts.

Requirements :

Must be licensed in the state of TX or be eligible for licensure

Must be a Nurse Practitioner

Experienced Nurse Practitioner preferred
