McKay's Mill Animal Hospital is hiring an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team!

About Us

We are a fun, progressive, AAHA-accredited multi-doctor practice in Franklin, TN. We provide a variety of services including Primary Care, Surgery, Dentistry, and more. Our hours are Monday through Friday 7 : 30am - 6pm, Saturday 8am - 12pm, closed on Sunday.

About the Role

As Veterinary Assistant, you will help create and maintain a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our patients and clients. Duties will include :

• Compassionate patient care
• Client education and care
• Venipuncture and catheter placement
• Radiology and diagnostics
• Lab sample collection and processing
• Surgical preparation and assisting
• Dentistry
• Medication preparation and administration
• Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
• Medical recordkeeping
