Tele-Commuter Resources has created an implementation team for its Information Age Community (IAC) project

(https : / / telecommuter.org / information-age-community / ) . With 20 high tech volunteers working on the Community Viability Index and other components, we are now launching the Community Portal project to turn the Internet on its ear.

The global community of Minneapolis-St Paul has a five-state footprint embracing 65 "Service Centers". Transitioning from the Trade center model to the Service Center model embraces

significant mindset- resets .

The IAC definitions are based upon markets and socio-economic orientation as opposed to the political jurisdictions defined by pioneer surveyors, geology and the whims of territorial legislatures

The Trade Center Model has the consumers and workers from small towns traveling to the larger towns and the larger towns not being overly concerned with the small town's viability. The Service Center Model, based upon our Community TeleCenter Network, interconnects the "remote neighborhoods" to the Service Center to create a new economic entity focusing on mutual viability.

The Portal becomes the dominant web destination for the Service Center and its remote neighborhood community, driven by AI, it supports the economic and social needs of the expanded Service Center and supplements the Suite of TeleCommuting Applications and after-hour government services.

Our focus

is on restoring a viable demographic for the farming community that has been losing access to schools, churches, social clubs etc. as their population has drained their small towns of the necessary suppport base to maintain local social support services.

They feed us; they deserve better.

The portal project

has a strong backend team to build the data structure and potential AI applications for immediate access to anything and everything a resident or visitor would want to know. It will embrace the viability tracking process to illustrate the Service Center's vision, goals, priorities and its progress in achieving them.

The Web Design

must capture the essence of the service Center's vision to captivate visitors, allow easy resource navigation and access. Our goal is to build a prototype that will embrace the IAC's vision and resources and be replicable for each of the 65 unique Service Center sites.
