Position / Specialty : Pediatric Stepdown RN *PLEASE READ* Inpatient Unit is very unique - 1 unit, 39 beds, all specialties on this unit, 50-60% of patients have some sort of technology dependence - ages 2 weeks to 18 yrs old.

IL RN LICENSE REQUIRED IN HAND FOR SUBMISSION Start date : ASAP - 9 / 16 or 9 / 23 Ratios : 1 : 3-4 Years of experience REQ : 2 years First-timers accepted : N Weekend REQ : Y every other weekend required Certs REQ : - Valid IL license at time of submission preferred - BCLS - PALS Is on-call REQ?

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours for 3-12 hour shifts 48 hours for 4-12 hour shifts 40 hours for shifts less than 12 hours (8-hour and 10-hour shifts) Special Requirements : - Vents, trach, and G tube experience required.

1 : 4 ratio experience required - Meditech experience required - Flu vaccine required - NO EXEMPTIONS *PLEASE READ* Inpatient Unit is very unique - 1 unit, 39 beds, all specialties on this unit, 50-60% of patients have some sort of technology dependence - ages 2 weeks to 18 yrs old.

Additional Notes : We are an acute care unit that cares for patients with chronic illness. Our children have tracheostomies with chronic ventilators.
