Senior Accountant (90K-$105K) Hybrid in The Colony

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Corporate Senior Accountant for our client in the healthcare space. This role is responsible for managing key accounting functions, including preparing monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP, performing reconciliations, and supporting SOX compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and at least 5 years of relevant experience and be a CPA or actively pursuing the CPA.

Responsibilities :

Prepare and process accurate journal entries, audit schedules, and fluctuation analyses.

Conduct monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy.

Prepare audit deliverables and provide detailed support during external audits.

Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes, ensuring the general ledger is accurate and up to date.

Identify opportunities for improving accounting processes and implement best practices, especially for SOX compliance.

Analyze financial variances and provide insights for potential errors and areas needing further investigation.

Support audit processes by coordinating with external auditors and ensuring necessary documentation is provided.

Ensure compliance with SOX controls, performing assigned financial control tasks.

Manage multiple tasks and deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.

Participate in other assigned accounting projects as needed.

Client Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA is preferred

CPA eligible is required

A minimum of five years of relevant experience

Strong knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance standards.

Experience with NetSuite is a plus.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.

Pay Details : $90,000.00 to $105,000.00 per year
