What You’ll Do :

Team Lead Level A Technicians are responsible for training and coaching less qualified technicians by assuming training and coaching responsibility for a group of approximately four technicians.

Level A Technicians are responsible for diagnosing truck problems and performing truck repairs. Technicians create repair plans and fill out parts requisitions for needed parts.

They are also responsible for tagging all warranty parts that are replaced and for turning in parts with core value. Technicians must also communicate updates to their Foreman daily and must maintain toolboxes organized and workstations clean and safe.

Level A Technicians perform tasks and possess skills noted below and have efficiency ratings of % or above.

• Performs work on transmission electronics diagnostics and repair.
• Performs work on ServiceLink computer.
• Performs repair verification.
• Conducts reviews of failure analysis
• Performs Service Lit repairs.
• Works on Parts-Pro repairs
• Conducts dyno testing.
• Works on inter-axle differential overhaul
• Performs transmission main shaft replacement.
• Performs complete transmission overhauls.
• Works on transmission rear section overhauls
• Performs drive-line overhaul and rebuilds.

Required Qualifications :

• Technicians with 6+ years of experience.
• Performs at % efficiency or better.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Positive attitude.
• Motivated

Training and Certification Requirements :

• Freightliner Heavy Duty Trucks Systems
• Freightliner Electrical Troubleshooting
• Specialist Certification
• Professional Certification
• Freightliner Electronic Systems Specialist Certification
• Class B CDL
• ASE Test Passed
• Provides training, coaching and guidance to less experienced technicians

Physical Requirements :

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Must be able to pass post offer drug test, and physical

Pay Range :

$30-$42 / hour depending on skills, experience, and certifications + Production Bonus
