Senior Software Engineer (On-Site)

Job Description Because this role involves integration and test in a classified lab for the next 2 years, work will need to be performed on-site.

There will be an option for flight and ground test at customer sites if desired. After this integration effort is complete there will be options for hybrid work, involving a combination of collaborative / in-person and independent work, with time split between working onsite and remotely.

We need your talent, motivation, and vision as a Senior Software Engineer to join our New Hampshire team. We are actively seeking experienced Software Engineers with a minimum of four years of experience and a range of skills.

The Software Engineer will apply her / his skills to developing high-quality, real-time embedded software for fielded electronics platforms.

Job Responsibilities

• Duties include analyzing, designing, coding and code modification (typically in C++) of complex software designs for simple systems or subsystems or subsystems of larger systems.
• You will be evaluating complex software designs to identify design flaws.
• You will be preparing design documentation, in accordance with established processes.
• You will utilize either a Linux or Windows based software development environment. Embedded targets could range from ARM through high performance x86-64 CPUs and Graphics Processing Units (GPUs).

You will be integrating and testing in the selected target test environments.

• You may participate in external project interactions with other companies
• Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship status. Required Education, Experience, & Skills
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, and minimum of 4 years work experience or equivalent experience
• Secret Clearance (active within the last two years)
• Foundation in Object-Oriented design and implementation
• High-level Object-Oriented language proficiency (e.g. C++, QT)
• Experience using scripting languages, such as Python
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and collaborative skills that translate to working software
• Proficient with source code control tools Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
• Experience with Real-time Embedded Software Development
• Experience with Agile Development and DevSecOps
• Experience developing Linux and Windows Operating Systems
• Experience using software tools like Jira, BitBucket, ClearCase and Confluence
• Experience with Containers including Docker or Kubernetes.
• Software automated test development and execution
• Software algorithm development
• Desire to lead technical teams

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range : $92290 - $156860

Please note : This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to : business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
