Job Title : Coordinator, Destination Services, Shorex
Department : Port & Destination Services
Basic Purpose :
Provide administrative support to the Manager of Destination Services for shore excursion product administration and development throughout the tour planning, creation, and operational delivery cycle in assigned regions.
Position Responsibilities :
- Support Destination Managers onboard with necessary tour forms and information.
- Send operators tour participation figures and confirm receipt of forms from tour operators.
- Ensure operators have the latest ship itineraries and assist them with information or changes.
- Communicate effectively with tour operators worldwide to ensure operational efficiency and address any issues.
- Assist Revenue Management with tour space adjustments and Sales Force with requests.
- Monitor and manage waitlisted excursions, clear waitlists on reservations, and request additional space from operators.
- Request Envograms to inform guests of any tour changes, cancellations, or new additions.
- Add additional space and build tour extensions when needed.
- Assist with research and development of new tour initiatives.
- Update and maintain Retail Masters and Tour Operator Directory for all destinations and brands.
- Assist Manager / Director / VP with special projects as needed.
- Perform other job-related functions as assigned.
Education :
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or any equivalent combination of relevant background and experience preferred.
Experience :
Minimum 1 year in a Shore Excursion environment.
Knowledge & Skills :
- Proficiency in NVS / Seaware, Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to summarize details to support decision-making.
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and well-organized work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked, and deadline-driven environment.
- Team-oriented with the ability to take on immediate project responsibility.
