About the Role :
As a Tech BD and Partnership Manager, you have the opportunity to shape and deliver the strategy for expanding Amazon Interactive Video Service (IVS) adoption.
You'll work with strategic customers and build partnerships, reporting to the Director of Product Partnerships for Amazon IVS.
Your Responsibilities :
- Engage strategic customers to build trust and demonstrate AWS's 'customer obsession' value.
- Advise account teams on live video trends and build executive relationships.
- Identify and target new markets for live video streaming, focusing on eGaming, EdTech, and specialized content platforms.
- Track live video trends and align them with Amazon IVS capabilities, events, workshops, and partners to benefit prospective customers.
- Build GTM plans highlighting immediate customer value and long-term AWS product strategy.
- Act as evangelist in the live video ecosystem, leading events, and speaking at industry conferences.
Minimum Requirements :
- 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, partner development, partner sales, or alliances management in the software / technology space.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales or business development goals for technical products.
- Experienced in communicating with several stakeholder teams.
- Ability to build trust with startups and senior executives.
- Knowledge of core cloud computing concepts.
- Success in driving sales / co-sell with partners, achieving $10M to $100M+ goals.
- Experience with AWS teams : APO, Field Sales, Marketing.
- Familiar with negotiating large deals.
- Master’s degree in a technical or relevant business field.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $83,100 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $177,800 / year in our highest geographic market.
Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits.
