Monitor, maintain and perform minor repairs, maintenance, and improvements.Read, interpret, and implement work ordersUse a CMMS (work order) systemEffectively communicate verbally, written, and e-mailUse strong interpersonal skillsBe safety minded in all work performedProblem solve / troubleshoot and understand resources to accomplish tasksGather needed materials to complete repairs / work ordersAccurately track and store the departments inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipmentSupport continuous improvement within all departmentsBe flexible with work hours and days.
24 hour by 7 days a week operation, including holidays)Drive (PID) Powered Industrial Trucks inclusive of people movers and forklifts.
Be required to take WSI certification and passAssess and resolve a wide array of maintenance issues on-siteStrong Electrical knowledgeLighting both interior and exteriorUnderstanding of controlsWeldingHave Knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipmentHave awareness of national, state, and local electrical codes and regulationsBe a motivated, self-starter who can manage projects and make decisions.

High School Diploma or EquivalentMinimum 10 years of experience working in electrical maintenance / construction or relative trade / technical school equivalencyKnowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipmentAwareness of national, state, and local electrical codes and regulationsMotivated self-starter who can manage projects and make decisionsAbility to read schematics, blueprints, and other technical documentsMaterial Handling System controls experienceFlexibility with work hours and days.
24 hour by 7 days a week operation, including holidays)Ability to drive (PIT) Powered Industrial Trucks inclusive of people movers and forkliftsWill be required to take WSI certification and pass.
Willing to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, crawling, etc.Review these physical requirements, as they play a major part in this role .
May need to crawl, climb, and stand for extended periods of timeMust be able to operate tools in close proximity to electrical componentsAbility to work at heights and unusual positionsAble to safely operate all hand toolsAble to lift up to 75 pounds on a regular basisAble to operate powered industrial equipment including forklifts, pallet-jacks, and handcarts.
Must be able to tolerate an environment with exposure to heat, cold, noise, dust and work around moving equipment often while working in uncomfortable positionsDexterity in eye / hand coordination, feet (foot pedals) manual (picking, pinching, holding, grasping), and wrist motion (repetitive flexion / rotation)Working conditions may include small spaces, dust, fumes / odors, hot / cold temperatures, inside / outside noise, vibration, standing on concrete for long hours and wet or uneven surfacesoccasionally exposed to work that requires repetitive motion.
