POSITION SUMMARY
This position is assigned to FFG PMO and reports to the Technical Director, FFG Non-Construction Projects, under the Senior Director of Production and Program Integration. The Class Design Services (CDS) Project Engineer provides technical support to cross-functional engineering teams, focusing on technical studies for Navy projects or Engineering Change Proposals (ECP). Responsibilities include assigning technical resources, contributing to project timelines, supporting outsourcing by preparing statements of work, identifying impacted configuration items, and analyzing effects on performance, interfaces, manning, training, software / hardware upgrades, logistics, and spares. The role involves coordinating with the FMM Engineering Department and subcontractors to develop comprehensive technical packages, requiring attention to detail and in-depth configuration knowledge. The individual must interpret complex information, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and ensure timely issue resolution.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
