Description

The position is for a Full-Stack engineer with proven and extensive experience with React front-end and Node backend development.

They will be required to write in JavaScript using React. They must know CSS and HTML extensively and have the ambition and willingness to work on more than just the front-end efforts.

So, API development experience is also required for this position.

Must-Have :

• 8+ years of experience in web development
• Full stack capabilities with extensive React Frontend and Node backend experience
• 4+ Years of experience on React
• 3+ years of experience on Node.js
• Solid experience with GraphQL with at least 1.5 years of experience
• Cloud competency, GCP preference - the ability to operate in an established cloud footprint, not to the level of a DevOps engineer but good experience setting up new policies regarding alerting in GCP.
• Webpack configuration expertise
• Relational database (SQL) experience with PostgreSQL preference; NoSQL knowledge as a bonus
• System design experience and understanding of software architecture and ability to plan and build interconnected services
• Familiar and experienced with different testing approaches and frameworks - unit, E2E, integration, etc., implemented via Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress (do not need experience in all, but at least familiarity with them)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Proactively seeks to knowledge share with the team
• Ability to verbalize technical problems and talk through solutions
• Ability and willingness to mentor junior engineers for technical and professional topics
• Very strong experience in JavaScript
• Strong experience in modern React concepts (Functional components, context, and hooks)
• Back-end engineering experience with expertise in at least one server-side language
• Great English and Communication skills including concise, effective, and audience-oriented communication
• Experience with Agile Methodologies
• Experience working with teammates to diagnose and resolve issues
• Experience with writing tests and debugging
• Proven experience developing solutions that use different software design principles like MVC for example.
• Experience with abstractions and code isolation
• Good grasp of Security and Cybersecurity practices to develop robust and secure applications
• Great sense of productivity, urgency, and priority
• Takes into account overall Product and business objectives

Nice to Have :

• Experience with Sentry and Snowflake is a huge plus
• Python & Django experience
• Cypress experience
• Proven TypeScript experience
• Experience with Micro Frontend familiarity and experience
• Knowledge of microservice architecture
