Associate Laboratory Technician
Job Description
WuXi AppTec is a leading global pharmaceutical, medical device open-access capability and technology platform company with global operations.
We have an opening in our Sterility Department for an Associate Lab Technician.
Position Details :Perform Sterility Testing in compliance with applicable Regulations, International Standards following SOPs in cleanroom type environment, perform QA / QC tasks, prep carts.
Experience / Education
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 1 year of relevant industry experience without a degree
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities :
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently as required
- Thorough understanding of Good Laboratory Practices and Good Manufacturing Practices
- Proficient in Oral & Written communication.
- Need to be able to read, write and understand English
Physical Requirements :
- Clarity of Vision ability to distinguish color
- Must be able to work in lab setting with exposure to biohazards / chemicals
- Must be able to wear appropriate PPE
- Must be able to work in environment with variable noise levels
- Ability to stand / sit / walk for long periods of time
- Ability to lift / push / pull / move 40 lbs. routinely
- Ability to crouch, bend, twist, and reach
- Must be able to work in small, confined spaces
- Must be able to perform activities with repetitive motions
- Must be able to work overtime as needed.
