Base pay range
$90,000.00 / yr - $110,000.00 / yr
What you will do
Establish and manage the technology infrastructure that supports business operations (hardware, networks, operating systems, systems middleware, and telecommunications)Contribute to documenting, monitoring, and maintaining the network infrastructure and improving its postureBuild and maintain relationships with internal leadership, business teams, IT, and external vendorsServe as an escalation point to diagnose complex network and server issues, identifying causes and developing remediation strategiesAssist the management of the server environment—tasks include creating new virtual machines, upgrading management software, troubleshooting infrastructure, and closely monitoring resource usageUnderstand business requirements and effectively design, communicate, and deliver solutions to both technical and business audiencesOffer technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and mentorship to peers as requiredRequired Qualifications
CCNA or comparable industry certification5+ years of experience in Information Technology with an emphasis on IT Infrastructure Networking3+ years of experience with designing, configuring, installing, maintaining, and tuning components associated with the LAN / WAN infrastructureExperience with Microsoft Server operating systems and solid grasp of Active Directory and Group Policy in a multi-domain, geographically separated environmentSolid TCP / IP network knowledge and troubleshooting skills, with an understanding of DHCP, WINS, and DNS network servicesStrong working knowledge of backup concepts and best practices—preferably experienced using Veeam Backup and Replication softwareFamiliarity with Microsoft SQL Server administrationUnderstanding of SAN and storage architectureKnowledge of wireless networking including managing, troubleshooting, and best practicesStrong interpersonal and communication skills, cooperative teamwork skills, excellent problem-solving ability, high degree of flexibility, and the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize workMust be detail-oriented and able to identify, prioritize, and complete tasks on deadlineExcellent documentation and organizational skillsComfortable in a fast-paced, constantly changing work environmentJob details
