Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (ICU RN) - Travel Position

Location : Pleasant Prairie, WI

Job Type : Travel Contract

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 4x12s Days / Nights

Pay : $3349 / week

Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (ICU RN) to provide specialized care for critically ill patients. The ICU RN will assess and monitor patients, administer advanced treatments, and collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and experienced in handling complex medical situations.

Key Responsibilities :

Deliver direct care to critically ill or unstable patients in the ICU.

Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, ventilators, and life-support equipment.

Administer medications, IV therapies, and advanced interventions.

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams on care plans.

Educate and support patients’ families throughout the care process.

Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to ICU safety protocols.

Qualifications :

Active RN license in WI

Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications

Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification

COVID vaccine, recent TB test

Minimum 1 year of ICU or critical care nursing experience
