Job Summary
The Sr Engineer, Cloud assists IT colleagues and partners to develop, migrate and deploy key cloud initiatives in a dynamic environment, while also ensure stability and functionality requirements from business customers are met.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
- Supports the planning, configuration, and operation of Molina cloud infrastructure migration and services.
- Works to configure and support workloads in the cloud, automates cloud infrastructure maintenance, and builds new operational monitoring capabilities.
- Provides troubleshooting support and identifies root causes for issues escalated by the NOC team.
- Develops and maintains tutorials and training resources..
Job Qualifications
Required Education
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, or equivalent experience
Required Experience
5 or more years of IT implementation experience3 years or more of hands-on experience with using, configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting network infrastructure connecting to Azure Public Cloud Provider, including a deep understanding of and experience with :o Cloud Infrastructure (VNETs, subnets, Network Security Group, route tables, ACLs); authentication policies, DNS, cloud storage and domain management
Full-stack knowledge of IT infrastructure (applications, databases, operating systems, hypervisors, IP networks, storage networks, cloud platforms, backup networks and mediaExperience with Azure StackKnowledge in integrating Azure with on-prem services like AD, DNS, Firewalls, and load balancers with proper integration patterns and architecturesExperience with Cloud Infrastructure Security, Zero Trust, IAM, Networking, Data Security and leveraging the right solutions in these areas is requiredExperience with API integration, automation, configuration management, monitoring, ensuring security and compliance are thorough in all cloud services implementationExperience in Agile methodologies, DevOps model and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) processes and to support CI / CD initiatives is requiredExperience in working with industry regulations, standards, and frameworks like NIST, PCI, SOX, HIPAA, GDPRRequires working knowledge of Microsoft technology stack and SQL Server database, including but not limited to high availability, disaster recovery, security, compliance, performance consideration, and cost management.Ability to provide both detailed information as well as summaries to management and IT groups.Experience in deploying the following : terraform, YAML, ARM template, Power Shell, Azure CLI, git / github, Azure DevOps CI / CD, SQL PaaS & Managed Instances, Azure Kubernetes Services, ASE, IaaS compute, network, and storageFamiliar with Azure data analytics platform deployment such as deploying infrastructure for Azure Data Bricks, Azure Data Lakes and Data FactoriesPreferred License, Certification, Association
Azure Administrator and other Azure certifications preferred
