Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Rotary Wing Engineer to join our team in the Lexington Park, MD location.
This position is 100% onsite.
Responsibilities :
Apply engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, or evaluate military weapons systems
Review and prepare engineering and technical analyses, reports, and other technical documentation
Analyze, design, develop, or evaluate components or systems related to engineering or functional requirements of military weapons systems and associated support systems
Develop and edit material for reports, briefs, and related technical publications
Basic Qualifications :
At least ten (10) years of professional experience relevant to DoD Technical Engineering Analyses and applicable document preparation and editing
MS or MA degree in an Engineering or Engineering discipline
Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Rotary Wing Design or Technical Specialist
Minimum 3 years’ experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD), preferably SolidWorks
Preferred Qualifications :
MS / MA degree in Aerospace Engineering
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
Strong organizational and time management skills; must be able to multitask, prioritize, and manage deadlines
Experience with MATLAB and / or similar tools
Experience with Microsoft Office and Teams applications
Rotary Wing and Design course completions
Security Clearance Requirements :
Secret Clearance required
U.S. Citizenship required
Physical Requirements :
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
Move about freely in an office / laboratory setting
The projected compensation range for this position is $110,800.00-$185,500.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary / hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
