Corporate Development Manager- Hybrid
Overview :
The Manager of Corporate Development will focus on expanding Concentra’s footprint through various growth efforts, including acquisitions, de novos and other strategic partnerships.
The role is specifically focused on prospecting to fill the development pipeline with qualified opportunities and evaluating areas of interest for potential de novo sites.
Key responsibilities of this role include finding and vetting leads, making phone calls to prospective acquisition targets, and gathering information used to evaluate potential acquisition opportunities.
The Manager of Corporate Development will work with various lead types, including outbound cold calling efforts, inbound communication from prospective sellers, warm introductions from the field, etc.
The Manager of Corporate Development will also be responsible for communicating with operational & business leaders throughout the organization to present opportunities and working closely with them to determine & refine projected results.
Responsibilities :
Identify and solicit potential occupational medicine and onsite organizations through a high volume of prospecting / calling
Identify strategic areas of interest for potential de novo site selection
Update acquisition database to accurately track activity and other details pertaining to prospects
Identify & manage ongoing pipeline of prospective acquisition or joint venture candidates
Communicate with leaders throughout the organization and field operators to evaluate & determine opportunities for growth
Communicate & negotiate effectively with sellers
Request / review / analyze financial information and other key metrics related to acquisition targets
Prepare detailed pro forma financial models for prospective acquisition and / or joint venture candidates and prepare detailed investment memos summarizing results
Coordinate all due diligence processes and perform specific transition duties
Continuously monitor and evaluate processes / workflows and provide recommendations to leadership for improvement and increased effectiveness

Education Details :
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
Customarily has at least the following experience :
1-2 years of experience preferred in investment banking, OR
2+ years of experience preferred in acquisitions, corporate development and de novo expansion projects
