Description

The Product Manager will lead product management for our content experience teams, including web front-end, back-end, data, platform and enterprise integrations.

They will drive product strategy across multiple agile teams to innovate and inspire changes to the product, aligning with the business unit as well as Proofpoint’s broader values and vision.

The Product Manager has an inquisitive mindset and desire to continuously push to learn more and uncover growth opportunities.

The ideal candidate is one who knows how to get results; is driven to create and build; is operationally credible; possesses a relentless focus on the customer;

and can effectively build, inspire and lead teams.

Responsibilities :

Take product concepts from idea through validation, measurement, and iteration.

Establish best practices and processes that drive transparency and visibility for product across the organization.

Partner with UX and technology peers to create customer experiences that drive joy and are consistent with Proofpoint’s identity.

Prioritize and lead the development of new features based on Jobs to be Done, and Test and Learn practices and principles.

Establish best practices for developing and testing roadmaps, and hypothesis creation and analysis.

Work closely with leaders from UX design, analytics, engineering, and marketing to deliver extraordinary products to our customers.

Encourage collaboration with other Proofpoint teams. Present to senior executives and represent product strategy with key team members.

Build market and competitor awareness among the team.

Ensure direct contact with partners and customers across geographies to encourage customer empathy.

Set and reinforce product goals.

Actively monitor key business metrics and adjust team priorities as appropriate to deliver on financial and customer adoption goals.

Find opportunities to improve processes and focus on providing solutions and delivering results.

Required Skills :

Exceptional relationship building skills; ability to work cross-functionally across teams to align different groups to common goals and ensure delivery of a cohesive, integrated roadmap Ability to motivate and inspire the team to overcome challenges and focus on problem-solving

Ability to focus on the customer and think long-term to build products that perform well and scale efficiently but not at the expense of innovation In-depth knowledge of Jobs

To Be Done and Test and Learn methodologies and approaches needed to get things done in a collaborative, lean and fast-moving environment

Lead mostly with questions rather than opinions, thriving on the opportunity to own, innovate, create, and constantly re-evaluate

Comfortable making recommendations across competing and equally critical business needs Simplify, clearly and succinctly to convey complex information and ideas to individuals at all levels of the organization

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s Degree in Business,

Computer Science or Engineering, MBA or Master’s degree preferred

2+ years in product management with experience collaboration, digital content services, data security, gaming, mobile marketing, and cloud in an enterprise environment

Base Pay Ranges :

SF Bay Area, New York City Metro Area :

Base Pay Range : 116,690.00 - 183,370.00 USD

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Washington DC Metro, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Texas, Washington, Virginia, and Alaska :

Base Pay Range : 96,880.00 - 152,240.00 USD

All other cities and states excluding those listed above :

Base Pay Range : 87,220.00 - 137,060.00 USD
