Job Title : Logistics Coordinator
Job Description
Seeking a Logistics Coordinator on 1st shift. The candidate will be responsible for various tasks in inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping and receiving.
The role involves pulling customer orders, receiving and off-loading incoming shipments, counting and reconciling shipments against vendor packing slips, moving finished goods to the warehouse, packaging customer orders, distributing products to warehouse bins, and assisting with inventory control processes.
Additionally, the candidate will operate power industrial vehicles, such as reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, hi-lo, and cherry pickers, prepare shipping documents, manage outgoing shipments, process inventory in the ERP system, and deliver materials to work centers.

Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Avon, Connecticut.
Work Environment
SCHEDULES : 1st shift - M-F, 8 : 00am-4 : 00pm or 9 : 00am-5 : 00pm. Some OT provided, but not mandatory. The work environment is very clean, high tech, well lit, and spacious.
An additional building is being added, which will almost double the size. Employees have access to a gym above the manufacturing floor with a locker room area.
PPE required : steel or composite toed shoes and safety glasses. Hearing protection is required in the casting area.
