About The Position
Job Title : MRI Technologist Job Specialty : Radiology / Cardiology - MRI Tech Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Mid 5x8-Hour (3 : 00 PM - 11 : 30 PM) Guaranteed Hours : Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen-week assignment without payment for canceled hours.
Experience : Minimum 2 years required; Level I Trauma experience preferred; Cerner experience required. License : Active IL license required prior to application.
Certifications : ARRT-MR preferred; Candidates must work two out of three major holidays. Must-Have : - Abdomen and Pelvis MRI Skills- Cardiovascular MRI Skills- Chest MRI Skills- Head and Neck CT Experience- Musculoskeletal MRI Skills- Special Imaging Procedure Skills- Spine Case MRI Skills Job Description : Perform MRI procedures for various body regions including abdomen, pelvis, cardiovascular, chest, head and neck, musculoskeletal, and spine.
- Utilize Cerner for charting and patient management.- Required to work every fourth weekend or as needed.- On-call duties as necessary.
- Must be in IL three business days prior to compliance requirements for fingerprinting.- Discuss scheduling requests with the manager;
open to accommodating block schedules.- Must fill out orientation forms during the orientation phase.- Scrub attire : Any solid color scrubs.
- Modules to be completed virtually on the first day of orientation, then annually.- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures regarding patient care and safety.
- Work collaboratively within the MRI team and broader healthcare team to meet facility needs.
