Complete College America's headquarters is in Indianapolis, Indiana. A highly functioning and self-driven selected candidate will have potential for remote work;
however, periodic in-office meetings and travel is required.
Position is remote, and compensation is based on the state of residence.
Position Summary
Reporting directly to the Vice President for Institutional Transformation and Scaling, CCA is seeking a dynamic, talented, and energetic Project Manager to support the strategic and programmatic efforts of the Strategy Team, which includes the CCA Alliance Members and Institutional Transformation initiatives.
The successful candidate must demonstrate adeptness at seeking knowledge, leading with innovation and integrity, advancing diversity and inclusion, engaging locally and globally, and embracing the responsible stewardship of resources.
The Project Manager will serve as the lead on matters pertaining to the coordination of activities associated with various projects, primarily the Complete College Accelerator initiative which focuses on facilitating institutional transformation for colleges and universities.
The ideal candidate will have project planning experience and strong skills in implementation, execution, progress monitoring, and evaluation.
The Project Manager will develop work plans to ensure alignment with CCA's strategic priorities and project deliverables.
The Project Manager will also prepare and present updates regularly across the organization, ensuring progress on strategic and programmatic efforts is being communicated broadly.
Essential Responsibilities
Complete College Accelerator / Institutional Transformation Support
- Establish and maintain processes for managing the Complete College Accelerator initiative, as well as other large-scale grant projects, to establish fidelity to strategy implementation which includes setting quality and performance standards
- Manage contracts related to IfS projects (including Memoranda of Understanding, Data Sharing Agreements, technical assistance, and professional development activities, etc.)
- Assist with coordinating Complete College Accelerator project capacity building activities (webinars, workshops, technical assistance, etc.)
- Manage data analytics software platform that tracks institutional progress and outcomes
General Project Support
- Monitor project progress, report project outcomes and / or risks to escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plans
- Assign and monitor resources to maximize deliverables
- Structure, manage, and integrate various tools and databases to ensure consistency and efficiency in program design and implementation
- Lead and coordinate mapping of project deliverables in support of CCA's strategic priorities
- Generate status reports on projects occurring across the Institutional Transformation area, as well as the CCA Alliance
- Support knowledge management structures, processes, and activities
- Support the Communications Director in the development and execution of communication related to ongoing projects
- Performs other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
An ideal candidate will possess the following skills, education, and experience :
- Master's degree or equivalent required
- Four or more years project management and programmatic experience
- Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines
- Proven success working with all levels of management
- Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and with professional discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including MS EXCEL, Outlook, Teams, Planner, PowerPoint, and Word
- Proficiency with and / or ability to learn new software such as Calendly, Adobe, and project management software
- Excellent oral, writing, editing, grammatical, organizational, and research skills
- Ability to conduct research and present data in a succinct and well-written manner
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Project Management and / or Six Sigma Certification
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, and external partners
- Ability to work with a broad range of constituents / partners

Working Conditions
- Due to the confidentiality of the work, the functions of this position should be performed in a private office / workspace location
- Occasional travel required; additional travel may be needed depending on grant projects
Physical Demands
The position requires little physical effort. However, during an event, the employee may have to lift boxes with meeting supplies and documents for distribution.
Periodic out-of-state travel is required.
