Registered Nurse (RN) Ortho Joint Replacement Department - FT Nights
Work location : Texas Health Clearfork, 5400 Clearfork Main St, Fort Worth, TX 76109Work hours : Full Time (7P-7A) for 36 hrs / week.

Our patient population consists of elective surgeries ortho fractures, hips and knee replacements and SpinesHere’s What You Need· Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program or Nursing Diploma· BSN preferred· Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire· BCLS prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required· ACLS within 90 days of hire required· CPI Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 60 days of hire· Two (2+) years of RN experience in Med / surg or Orthopedics strongly preferred.
- Charge Nurse experience preferred.What You Will DoDelivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process· Assesses the patient· Plans the care of the patient· Intervenes as appropriate· Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions· Incorporates age specific safety / infection control measures into patient care.
- Initiates action to meet patient and / or significant others need for information· Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
