We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to :
- Join the ENT / Eyes / Plastics Surgery team and provide high quality care to patients on this unit .
- Ensure care is delivered with a mixture of technological expertise and a positive commitment to meeting patient and family needs.
Be an integral part of a team that provides care for patients requiring specialized care for cardiac and thoracic surgeries and procedures, heart and / or lung transplants, medical devices and a variety of cardiovascular medical diagnoses
Minimum Requirements :
- Facility Requirement :
- Traveler must have permanent address outside 50 mile radius of Madison (permanent address must be included in traveler's profile : resume, portal and all onboarding documentation must have permanent address listed).
- Experience :
- Must have experience with ENT / Eyes / Plastsics (3 or above).
- Traveler must have completed two years of acute care
experience within last 3 years.
Traveler must have experience in an Academic Level 1 -
Trauma center or similar size hospital.
Successfully completed traveler assignment
13 weeks).
- Licensure and Certification :
- Traveler must have WI nursing license or compact
license from their permanent address state.
- BLS & ACLS must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY
- Reference
- Needs 2 references from recent work
environment / assignments (supervisor or manager only for work performed in the last two years).
- Floating
- Travelers
are the first to float. The Traveler may
have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current
staffing needs and / or different locations within the
organization .
During the travelers assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a
need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete
contract.

Position Urgency : Quick Start

Shifts :
36 hrs / wk, Day / Evening, 12 hr shift, Monday- Friday with primary shift being 6 : 40am-7pm. Weekend and weekday call rotation.
Three 12 hour shifts consecutive are not guaranteed.
Traveler may be mandated to stay beyond scheduled shift for patient care needs
On-Call Requirement : Call response time is 45 minutes : 45 minutes from phone call to be dressed in scrubs and reporting to the charge nurse.
Most likely one call shift during week and every 5th weekend, potentially.
