About The Position
Job Title : Surgical Technologist Job Specialty : Certified Surgical Technologist - Operating Room Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 8-hour days plus rotating call Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Minimum of 2 years License : Yes, required to submit Certifications : BLS, Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Must-Have : Experience with neuro-trauma call, independently performing cranial procedures, total joint, and level II trauma.
Must be able to scrub. Job Description : Provide surgical assistance in the operating room for general, neuro, and orthopedic cases.
- Demonstrate competency in neuro-trauma call and cranial procedures.- Work flexible schedules and be willing to float as needed.
- Experience in a high-volume operating room; approximately 23 cases per day in a 10-room facility.- Maintain current BLS and CST certifications.
- Use Epic Systems Corporation - EpicCare Inpatient - EMR for charting.- Work in a Level 2 Trauma Center with a focus on orthopedic and spine procedures.
- Participate in a rotating call schedule for nights and weekends.- Join a team at an accredited chest pain center ranked among the top hospitals in its region.
- Be open to flexible scheduling requirements, without the option for blocked scheduling or repeated same shifts.- Travel position with potential temporary housing options available, including fully furnished apartments with utilities.
